Webpage Design + Coding (HTML & CSS) 

Last semester, as I was preparing to study abroad in Paris, I designed and coded a webpage with a list of five places I wanted to visit in France. I tried to capture the warmth, romance, and elegance associated with many of the picturesque places I dreamed of visiting through the combination of a peachy background color, a swirly cursive script for headlines, and a sophisticated serif for body text. I also aimed to create a scrapbook-like feel to the webpage that would give it more warmth and make it feel a little more personal, almost like a travel journal. I overlapped the script with images to create visual interest and tried to break up the rhythm of the webpage every now and then with the use of video/gifs.
